No not even that daft.
I figured I would plumb my Tig Welder into the Mig gas, and save on the hassle of two bottles or having to keep swapping the pipe over. Trouble was it sort of worked. sort of.
Worst of all I was online for advice and nobody asked me what gas I was using, I think they thought I knew what I was doing. Then worse still, I had an 'expert' come to give me a lesson in technique, who pronounced my welder rubbish and did not even ask what gas I was using, even both welders were still on the same bottle.
But sorted in the end.
