Do people out there still use Weldcraft WP9,WP18,WP26 TIG Gear or as it all gone CK,and does the CK gas saver really work.

The CK gas saver won't allow you to turn your flow rate down but it makes the gas flow more laminar - It comes out in a smooth line rather than tumbling around. It means you can use more stick out with the same flow rate.
Langy is selling series 2 (Fits a 9 or 20 torch) Pyrex consumables with gas lenses.

A few people on here use a CK head and CK superflex cables but a Weldcraft handle because it's more ergonomic.

Hmm not so sure about not being able to turn down as I've gone down to 3.5lpm since I changed over, have you tried the CK yet ???

I was just going on what I've heard from others, I only replied to "Bump" the thread so more knowledgeable people (Like you) would come along.

Why not use a more robust Weldcraft Gas Lens

I've been able to turn flow down also. The main thing I like them for is get more tungsten stick out for hard to reach welds like in corners or inbetween two tubes.

I never turned the flow rate down on my pyrex cup from a standard gas lense,but i havent seen ck advertising or claiming so.
i was under the impression it is purely visual improvement?

I've managed to drop my LPM further. Like langy I'm also able to run under 4 now. I've actually spent time this week trying collects, standard gas lens and the pyrex kits at different LPM rates dropping the flow till it goes snotty and the truth is the pyrex lens kit I can run about half an LPM lower than the standard one. They are honestly a good saver. I have a multistage reg which helps also.
