just a dumb question as I want to understand the principal......
I want in the near future a motorcycle frame TIG brazed.....and then Nickle plated....keeping the flow pattern of the braze material.....
For example....
So if u wanted to use a TIG to braze let’s say a 1mm thick cut out of a clover leaf to a steel tube....
By gaz u just heat it up to cherry and the braze just flows in , using flux of course.....
But with a TIG what happens.....when welding with a TIG both base metals melt and the
filler rod flows into the molten blob......
but remember I want to keep the shape of the clover leaf.....with no damage to the shape.....
