that all depends on whether you need a quick charge for you Delorean for a spot of time travelso best not fly a kite around these things then if thats your hobby (overhead wires that is)
I think you might just blow throughso lightning could be classed as one big welding kit?
that all depends on whether you need a quick charge for you Delorean for a spot of time travel![]()
because they had synced the digi clock in the car with itWas just thinking about that part of that film the other day. In the workshop doing something, and my mind went off on a completely unrelated tangent to that Delorean scene. What I want to know is: they know which minute the clock stopped at, but how did they know the second?
it stopped the clock in the carAye, but to sync the clock to it, they'd need to know the exact second the lightning strike happened.![]()
yeah you sussed meIt stopped the town hall clock. You're just trying to confuse me further, aren't you.![]()
you telling me none of this film was trueyeah you sussed mebut the guts of the clock may have a second hand for time keeping purposes
that and the fact it was totally fiction and they got to state the time they wanted
![]()

surprised the vapour in the fuel tank doesn't ignite...
I love thunderstorms.........I could easily become a chaser if I was in the USA..........maybe I havent seen one bad enough to scare the s*** out of me.
There's a tree in my village known as "lighting tree", it's split wide open and was supposedly struck about 20 years ago. I doubt it but I hope it's true.
I know of someone who was killed by lightening, somehow that still doesn't put me off of going outside in a thunderstorm. A Neighbour has a flagpole, I look forward to the day when that gets welded by the sky
.
What do you think to attaching a few lengths of scaffold pole end to end and sticking it in the air? I'm gonna catch me some lightening one way or another.
