I've got a Rapidor hacksaw that probably weighs around 130KG, and whenever I put off the shelf castors on it, they get knackered when I try to move it over my rough garage floor.
So I'm making my own castors and castor housing and want two rotating castor housings and two fixed. The question I have now is what kind of (presumably) thrust bearing to use on the steering castors, in the horizontal plane.
Would needle rollers be preferred to balls?
