Righto, time to start laughing at me, just brought myself a cheapo s/h TIG to get a few jobs done and pay for a better one, all works fine, tested on collection. Only problem is it`s 3 phase (or so it appears, didnt realise until after
)
Now the plug that came off it was a nice big red one, but only 3 pins, does this mean it`s only using a single phase, and therefor should be jumpable to 230v?
It`s a Portamig/MTA style machine, 200 amp DC only, i`d take some pics, but it`s still in the back of the car, can`t get it out for snow. If it helps even slightly, it`s yellow, marked ULTRA and was supplied by weldingshop.co.uk (not where i bought it from, thats where the previous owner bought it) there still trading but don`t list them. Oh, and made in UK
Thanks muchly
