Hi
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to run a three phase welder from a domestic 240v supply?
I am told inverters / converters or whatever they are termed can be used. If so where can i source one, and secondly what rating would it need to be from the domestic supply.
I also heard a rumour that some welders can be 'switched' internally to work on a single phase supply. Is this true or just another rumour being spread? if it's possible does anyone know which welders this applies to?
Looking forward to your replies.
