Threading on boxford CUD

You guys are way to smart for me. I cut a m10 1.25 this morning..

I have yet to try threading but on a Colchester I think you need to keep it engaged and reverse the motor each time for a metric thread. Possibly the same here.

There's a lever on the front of the lathe so you can cut english and metric . Did you get change gears with the lathe ? . I've tried threading on the Colchester 7 1/2 at work ,it's missing gears I think .

Normally for metric on an imperial machine you work with the half nuts engaged and reverse and same for imperial a metric machine.
