Everning all.
I am going to be welding some plates on an old boat after it had a survey done and showed it needs 6 plates 200mm X 300mm and 2 plates 300mm X 600mm these need to be cut out and new sheet welded in not plated on the outside.
Would you root and cap it, or v the edges and do it in one hit, or something else
Ive welded sheet like this before but just wonder how others choose to go about it.
