Sorting this lot out and finally getting some well needed storage in the van!!

I have racking already and a tool box but the racking just isn’t suited for what I need, and I can’t get the genny behind the bulkhead either!

Just been to screwfix for some Tec-screws and now I’m about to pull everything out onto the drive. I just hope the rain doesn’t start!

    what’s everyone else up to?

I know the feeling. Also looking after 3 under 8. Managed to fit a replacement shower head. Was hoping to get out and tidy the garage but can’t see that happening as I’m sorting out arguments every 3 minutes.

Chose a terrible time to do a dry month.

    That's a good idea.

    Il get a glass.

Youngest is 2 1/2 and can't be trusted alone atm. Bad enough leaving the room to make a brew.

Creme eggs, are they out already!!!!

I’ve got two sections fitted but I want my genny in before I fit anymore so am fitting things in around this at the moment. Started getting dark so will finish off in the morning

I too though am wondering if I should have a drink, I’ve got some nice Irish whiskey in the wine rack!!

I'm doing my van in 3 stages. Did the side door storage last week
Gives me time to decide where I want everything.

Takes me longer though. I've got to make mine.
    Never did pour a drink.

I’d like my tool box to be at the sliding door but my genny will be there so may fabricate a frame for the box to sit above the genny.

It’ll come clear when it’s in the van next week

If you’re not drinking then I’ll put mine back:whistle:

To be fair I lied, I had a few whiskeys and fell asleep on the couch. Only two though, one Irish and one single malt scotch but was enough to knock me out after the first week back at work!

Our Tesco has an isle completely dedicated to events like Easter and Christmas and I think it’s crazy to have these on sale so soon, it’s just a way to capture the revenue I suppose but I think it takes away from the even your celebrating at that time

Went to the local Tesco to get a box of chocolates after Christmas. Couldn't find them so asked a member of staff for help. "Jurst round heeee....." followed by a load of expletives as he saw an isle full of Easter Eggs! Made me laugh anyway.

Well I’m sorted for now with the racking. I didn’t use all of it as I want to get the genny behind the bulkhead tomorrow to see what room I have left.

I’m going to pick up some angle and box section tomorrow so I can make a frame for my tool box to sit above the genny although it stands at 37” tall with the lid open so not sure it’ll fit until I measure the Mosa! If it does then I’ll also be getting some heavy duty draw runners and mounting the Mosa on a sliding frame so I can get to the fuel filler neck as it’ll be right up to the bulkhead.

As for the racking, everything I had squashed onto the old stuff I had now has it’s only place and even enough room to separate the 4.5” cutting and grinding discs and 9” cutting and grinding discs. My PPE is laid out in separate lin bins under the wooden worktop and boots and overalls hidden away by the wheel arch along with my breaker bars and monkey wrench.

I feel cleansed now I’ve done it but not complete as I still need to fabricate brackets to mount the gas bottle better and the same for the Oxy/acet bottles. I’m also going to make somewhere secure for my Minarc and LN25 so they don’t fall around when driving

All in, a good bit of progress made and some good ideas for the genny and tool box frame..... more pics to come as I go
