On a drive across the moor today, note Buzzard, Egrets & herons.
There were a lot more in the field awaiting their turn.

There are always a fair no around here as we have a nesting site but never seen so meany at once, counted 30. The Buzzard was a big boy, the Egret's were there in force as well
The reason is ditch cleaning! well sort off they scoop the rushes out to look as if they are cleaned, 30 years ago they were one to two meters deep you can almost walk across them now
