To cut a very long story short, my brother in law contacted my sister yesterday to see if I was interested in some garage equipment.
His son’s fiancé’s grandfather had passed away 6 months ago and they’d inherited the house and belongings.
This included his life‘s work in his workshop, it was all being given away for free as they wanted to clear the area.
They’re young and don’t know a spanner from a mouse trap.
In amongst the stuff going to the scrapyard tomorrow was a twin axle trailer, yes it had sat for several years and had 4 flat tyre, and a cracked light, but other than that it is very solid.
Also this, and I’m not a vice expert, but as soon as I saw it my eyes lit up, I knew it was something special, I’ve been looking for and old vice to restore for my new workshop, looking for a while but the prices….
Here was what I saw out of the corner of my eye when I was looking at the trailer, a record No36,
Apologies still haven‘t learned how to pin photos, if this doesn’t work. I’ll do this in 2 parts
