Took them a long time to finally fix it, though.
Fwiw, I always liked the 2.25 petrol lump, a really nice engine to just stand next to and hear running, as it chuckled and clicked to itself. Pity it was a relatively underpowered and thirsty brute, although nothing like as ferociously thirsty as the 6-pot. Having said that, the 6-pot didn't seem to use any more petrol when fully laden, weirdly enough.

Also 140 Bhp euro 4 is really archaic, a modern isuzu 2.5 tdi twin turbo has 225 bhp on tap- i know what i will spend my money on ! At least that has a decent ride quality for a 4x4 and proper brakes !
