Hi all, I have an old (but probably little used) Kempotig AC/DC 250 that I bought off a welding instructor colleague at the time - it came with a separate water cooling unit (that I haven't used as only occasional jobs) and a new replacement circuit board that he said thought the original was faulty and bought just in case but never fitted as the gear all seemed to work OK again. It's quite a large unit and I was considering selling this and replacing with a more compact unit. My needs are only occasional as I build a few custom bikes and other wacky things in my mancave workshop as part of my early retirement. A quick look at forums and the market suggests a Parweld in the first instance. I have acetylene gas, a Kemppi mini MIG unit, and old Oxford MMA stick welder but do need a TIG facility for alloys, and needs to be a easy/flexible use one for some of the 'old alloys' that I have to deal with. the Kempotig covers some MMA as well.
I welcome any comments on my best way forward TIG-wise - many thanks.
