A couple of years ago we made Christmas dinner at uni, had about fifteen people round and as such, made enough food for 15, including sprouts. We forgot that everyone hates sprouts so, not wanting to be wasteful, my housemate blended all the rest into about three litres of soup, it tasted alright but you wouldn't want a whole bowl of it, the colour was horrendous too, like an avocado bathroom. We didn't have fridge space there and then so just put it to one side for the evening...
It sat there for weeks and turned into a solid brick of mould, one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen.
They've probably had then cooked badly, don't lots of people boil the absolute f'k out of them? Why do people hate sprouts so much? We have them lightly steamed and they are lovely. We then use the rest in bubble and squeak on Boxing Day

There is something in them that tastes bitter to some people, half the population can’t taste it, the other half can! It’s been on the television about it, farmers have been trying to eradicate it out by selective breeding, if that is the right expressionWhy do people hate sprouts so much? There's something similar with fresh coriander, supposedly tastes like soap to some percentage of the population. I'm not keen, wouldn't describe it as soap but I don't eat it if I can avoid it.There is something in them that tastes bitter to some people, half the population can’t taste it, the other half can! I have to sort this out, I wondered what that grating noise was when turning left....
The blooody courier stuck in mud I rescued the other day did it when he rolled back into me, I didn't think it did any damage
