I've done a fair bit of MIG welding on my Mini project, spurred on by advice on here. It is really just some patch repairs on inner sills and some plug welding in order to attach new sills, nothing major so I don't expect the car to break in half! I think I've done a reasonable job and am confident nothing will fall off but it ain't pretty! I have found I've needed to revisit some of the the plug welds as the 'top hole' hasn't filled completely (others are fine so the inconsistency is a bit worrying!) and I've felt safer seam welding both sides of sheet when patching (fortunate enough to have access) because of dodgy penetration. Any tips?
