thermal arc 150 TE

Hello guys, after a long break from welding, I am looking to get started again. I have been offered the above mentioned machine and wondered if anyone would be willing to advise me on buying it? I have some steel work to do, nothing too heavy, maybe 1.8 guage. Then I'd like to try some aluminium welding, Locost sportscar body and chassis work, and finally some lightweight stainless, maybe exhausts!
Is this a kit worth looking at , or am I barking at the wrong tree?

Wrong tree i'm afraid, you'll be wanting an AC/DC machine to weld ally and the 150te is DC only

Thanks Hotrodder. Can anyone point e towards a 'cheapish' TIG that would do what I require?
