Went into the local (24 mile round trip) Wickes last Wednesday for two 4m lengths of guttering and the appropriate brackets. Gutters galore but no brackets. Helpful man suggested order on line - you'll have it for Friday morning. Seemed a good idea, so rather than struggling home with 4 m lengths of gutter, ordered the lot on line.
Friday dawned and a man turned up with a box of brackets but no guttering.
Conflab with Wickes , lots of apologies and a promise of delivery on Monday (today).
Phone call around mid morning to find out why I had rejected the delivery on Friday?
More explanations and a wait while he did some checking. Seems that the guttering is lost in transit - more promises of delivery tomorrow morning!

I wanted 36 roofing brackets from them, their website said they had 98 in stock in the local shop, but when I got there they only had 33 on the shelf. I asked them if they could get the rest out of the warehouse, I was told they were all on display, so I didnt get any, I called in b&q on the way home and they were a few quid cheaper there (make a change).when I got home I checked again and it still said they had 98 in stock.

Mate ordered 2 x 4x6ft earth riddler screens both went missing on carrier 6mm rod mesh with angle frame.
