Shame about the spelling of 'petroleum'!
surprising folk buy junk hahaaaaI dislike the word "vintage". Its a modern excuse for inflating prices on second hand items, and junk.
Stupid language....Means the same thing but inflammable came before flammable. Both derived from a common source.
Inflammable is not "in + flammable" but a contraction from inflammare (sp?) and flammable is from the same place but later on.
Yeah English is all of the suck for any kind of rule that actually works
yeah the tins are far smaller than they used to be heheI'm all for it actually, if someone is willing to pay to look after old tin cans, machinery ect one day it will actually be 'vintage', I'd rather see a tin of Quality street than a plastic of Quality street.. What would you save for posterity from 2020?

There's a fella near us who does farm clearances, all he ever does it brush the cobwebs off stuff and at best give it a wipe with an oily rag.
He sells for a fair amount and does a great trade. Lots of cafes etc like buying old oil cans and stuff off him to stick on shelves for decoration.
