Imagine if you made different its like producing a masonry hammer drill that can't do sds etc
It would sell as fast as well rotted fruit
When we first saw little grinders, was it a Makita 4" grinderette, they were M12 with a 5/8" hole in the disc.The thread should be a M14, as already said.
However my fiend has a cheepy B&Q angle grinder and the thread is a M12. But the spindle is very soft and doesn't take much to damage the threads. it was so bad that a M12 plain nut would not run down until I dressed it with a die nut.
