I quite like it when threads move off topic after they have performed their original function as it adds more interest to the forum, though I know other forums hate it, and I'd imagine that's because some people don't like it to happen.

We could talk about technological heroes like Nikola Tesla & his work on inductors, electromagnetism, high frequency, plasma discharge, electrical condensers and VHVAC, so there would be mig/tig welders or plasma cutters to talk about.
