Mate just took his Merc in for a service - they reported the 2 back tyres were cracking and perished. I had a look and indeed they were. 2 year old Continental sports - 12000 miles. I expected better.
I have nothing against part worns. I have had some real bargains in the past. Don't bother these days as I just have long term rental/lease.
I would rather a part worn leading brand than a ying tong iddle i po any day![]()

My biggest issue with cheap tyres is noise - not wear.

I’d prefer new tyres in date from a decent brand. They keep in you contact with the road after all
