Hello all! I was recommended to this forum by a friend from a woodworking forum, I already recognise some names from there and Instagram.

Wood Machinist and Architectural Joiner by trade, but I dabble in the darks arts of metal in my hobby of rebuilding very sorry examples of woodworking machinery. I own a CVA MK1A Toolroom Lathe and a new-to-me Harrison Vertical Milling Machine. I'm not much of a welder but I do own a Cebora Tigstar, Migatronic, and an old venerable Pickhill arc welder for when I want to make a right sow's ear of anything.

Arc and mig, I can do, tig is a constant source of frustration for me, better regrind that tungsten, envy anyone who's good at it.
