Classic bike show at Stafford if I go anywhere. Really low on bits and bobs.

I gave up going a long time ago - same useless junk that's been fished out of the nearest canal on the same old stalls. Occasional good stuff - but wanting good prices - if I'm going to pay those prices, I'm buying new from somewhere with comeback.
And seemingly all stall holders must have come from a long way away - packing up my mid-morning to get on the way home . . .

Rufforth (York) and Newark have a good assortment, plenty of dealers and shed clear outs, we have had some good stuff over the years but if you are looking for anything specific its very much a needle in a haystack as you never know what's there until you go.
We have also made some great contacts we would never have found on line, for us its a social event as much as a buying trip.
All the ones I have been to are well and truly over by midday as many start at 0600 or earlier.

I don’t “need “ another bike, especially a race bike but Bonhams has a really good selection this time. Suspect the traders will be out in force this time to make up for the last show. Mask and vinyl gloves for me, some people seem to pick up everything they see but never buy anything.

Well its was small but perfectly formed.
Came home with one more vehicle than we went with and it was nice to meet Greaves246.
Usual assortment of Tat, tools and bits you cant live with out Spray can man did well
No sweet stalls or house hold, just jumble and consumables which was nice
