well its got a good head on it without using a pump or power . wouldnt fancy it getting in a pothole mind or uneven ground

Correct. They tow it out to the field connect it to the bore pump which is powered by a diesel generator. Then gravity feed the free range poultry. It means they only need to run the Genny for an hour or two a day to fill the tank.

This is the 2nd one I've made. I mistakenly welded the 1st one on top and bottom so after a few years and it started leaking I found welding patches underneath a dripping tank no fun at all. This one I bolted the tank to the RSJ's so I can lift if off and turn it over.

Those scissor high lift tippers would be the ideal trailer to convert for that purpose.

Now and again I have seen one of these leaving the airport and going round roundabouts and corners on the way back to their unit.
With the body up the air.

A Highways Agency contractor in the midlands had one of those for gantry maintenance, I had to take it to the repair agent at Birmingham airport after one of their guys tried to drive off without lowering it.
