Who wrote the mig welding guide on this site?

ive been at my first day today of a week long basic mig course at college, during the class room work today alot of the pictures from the guide popped up in his presentation.

i forget the name of the book and author that was on the bottom of the slides. Just wondering if they've ripped it off from this site.

That would be Malcolm. He has said that he's not too bothered about web sites using his images as he watermarks them, but then again they are his work and should not really be used without permission.

Thanks. Might give them a bell. I quite often grant permission to training establishments who ask, but I don't recall these guys asking.

I hope they are using the information in the right context - It's not material I would use to teach anyone welding anything thicker than 2mm.

I dont recall seeing the watermark on them. Maybe they have croped them all. They have used all of the "installing the wire" pictures and 4 from the "torch position" 3 from the "welding safety"

and alot just copied word for word
