Sticker might of been USA madeIt's total crap, people just advertise what they want.there is another seller there advertising a different chinese welder claiming it's USA made. I asked him did it say on the welder where it was made, about a week later he posted an obviously home made sticker Made In USA on the back.letters about 50mm tall
On that topic.. Who are the "leading manufacturer" in Europe?
@matt1978 Could I your opinions of European manufacturing? IIRC your machines are made in Europe but do you have any insight into other manufacturers too?
Hope you don't mind me asking
How do Rehm do regards to market share across Europe? Are they pretty big in Germany. They are not a well known brand here but they make some awesome kit. There single phase tigs can't be far off the smallest/lightest kit about.I don't mind at all.
TechnicAl has answered pretty much spot on. The last time I seen some figures for Europe, Kempii were also right up there regarding Turnover in Europe.
Miller or should I say the parent company ITW are by far the largest in the world but it's very hard/almost impossible to dissect the turnover of Miller from the ITW side of things but out of Lincoln and Miller I think Lincoln edge it for the largest in the world.
It also depends on which tier or market segment your comparing against. For the lowend cheaper side of the market let's say a 230v 180 amp DC Tig, a much smaller brand such GYS or simerla would have a much larger market share than say someone like Fronius. But when it comes to high end Pulse migs etc GYS wouldn't be on the radar. Country by country, region by region it all changes, in Europe Germany is the single biggest market for welding machines. Fronius are number one in that market regarding turnover but LORCH are number 1 regarding boxes (Ie welding machines) sold. But go across the water to Scandanavia and LORCH is fairly Unknown and brands such as Migatronic, Kempii and ESAB are really strong.
