Sat morning i have to go and do 3 roofing estimates then home early afternoon to put a clutch in my cabstar renovation project...sunday the mrs and i are going to the stafford classic bike show and then home to a free range chicken dinner

jungle curry.......go on then explain??
Bit of background, I'm seperated from wife, we have two boys, she's a veggie and won't cook any meat. So when I come to Devon I bring cast iron Dutch Oven pan that we cook a curry in. We went camping a few years ago and were near some woods and cooked a curry. Ever since then whenever I do a curry the boys call it jungle curry. It's quite good now as they are a bit older 13 and 12, like getting involved with the pots n pans leaving dad more free time for beer

It was our Local carnival tonight, so stood up town for an hour watching them all go past. Nothing too exciting, its a fairly small one and due to the Friday slot doesnt seem to get that all that much support.
Few hours in work in the morning, fold up parts for an oven cleaning dip tank for a mate, then home to an empty house. Rest of them are off to her Mums to watch another carnival. Might get a couple hours woodturning in the afternoon, then feet up and a few bottles of cider.
Sunday, nothing much, a steady 5k run in the morning, few hours scratching about at home, roast, then a walk somewhere with a stop of at one of the local pubs, which happens to have been awarded National best cider pub of the year

I am working 6-6 Saturday and Sunday, but will be swapping the sensor on a mates digital scope Saturday night and then testing Sunday night before handing it back Monday. Also be fitting my own new scope to one of the rifles (no idea which yet) and testing that out at some point too...

Ive been wondering about a Dutch Oven.........any good?
It's only as dangerous as the amount of beer consumed when making curry lol
And Dutch ovens are excellent, I came across mine by chance. It was in salvage yard owned by a mate, very rusty and fracked. Bit of fetling to clean up then fix crack with pre heat and OA brazing, works a treat and must be easily 70 years old

A "dutch oven" has more than one meaning.
feeling motivated to do some work on my Triumph Herald, so today I've started to modify a new front panel for the bonnet......I decided how I wanted it to look more than 10 years ago and have had the panel for over 15 years. so this is the first bit of cutting and welding Ive done on it.
and this is what the standard panel looks like
lets hope I get this right or its going to be an expensive piece of scrap.

I was at hull a few weeks agodaughters just done her yearly test working at heights and the sea survival in helicopter course and just shipped out to sea of Germany wiring wind turbines up for Siemens
