I have no idea what that is! I can see a big rad and a "Pepper pot" exhaust - so it's an engine... but that's as far as I know.

Nice! Does it work? 60Hz? Onan I'm pretty sure as a brand now are part of Cummins (lots of Yank RV's have Onan gennys on-board).

Single or three phase ?
Nice, anyway.
They do look handy to have in your toolbox. Can you winch out under load, a controlled roll down a slight incline, for example (with chocks and other safety precautions in place!)?My baby Tirfor was a huge help.
Looking forward to seeing this running.Moving my 5000kg H20.
An absolute monster. My baby Tirfor was a huge help. The rollers are a fair bView attachment 373245it bigger than scaffolding poles. Saved them out of a skip years ago.
1 hour and we moved her about 70 feet.
Surprising how steerable rollers can be when you get the hang of it.

Yes sure, my cheap Halfrauds version would drop an engine in a mini without touching it - the handle would release one notch, bounce up and drop another notch, continuously, like a clock. Tirfors are very safe and very controlled - you can feel what is going on. This is the baby one rated to 300kg lifting. My biggest one is rated to 3500kg lift. The firebrigade use them for lifting stuff off people when they are trapped. They do look handy to have in your toolbox. There is no ratchet on a Tirfor. Are you on about a high lift type jack? The 5 ton toe jack I use is like that if you aren't careful.Yes sure, my cheap Halfrauds version would drop an engine in a mini without touching it - the handle would release one notch, bounce up and drop another notch, continuously, like a clock. Sooner the better! It makes my Triumph look like a MyfordLooking forward to seeing this running.
No, my halfrauds is more like a winch with a single pull handle on it - it’s not a tirfor, but I’m not sure what else to call it.There is no ratchet on a Tirfor. Are you on about a high lift type jack? The 5 ton toe jack I use is like that if you aren't careful.
Maybe a come along as the Yanks call them or a cable puller? No, my halfrauds is more like a winch with a single pull handle on it - it’s not a tirfor, but I’m not sure what else to call it.
