NO, a lot of them are 2nd hand, recovered by factories in and around Bradford/Huddersfeild/Leeds.
Besides the fact you dont know whats under the cover many dont comply with fire regs, despite the labels
It's looks nice. But to be honest I have taken a few of the resin driveways out because it hasn't bonded with the base course. That's a shame, I was admiring it the other day.
That's interesting! My wife is keen to get our mix of block paving, cement and tarmac coated in it.It's looks nice. But to be honest I have taken a few of the resin driveways out because it hasn't bonded with the base course.
My honest opinion is don't do it..it looks nice. But it is not as good as made out to be..I have taken out three drives with resin. And 2000 square metres of foot path. That's interesting! My wife is keen to get our mix of block paving, cement and tarmac coated in it.
Thanks for the advice, it could be an expensive mistake then! Unfortunately the other option is digging it all up and brickweaving. My back hurts just thinking about it!My honest opinion is don't do it..it looks nice. But it is not as good as made out to be..I have taken out three drives with resin. It's could be yes. Block paving is a better option. But that's about £110 per square metre down here. But if doing your self will be cheaper and you can do it when you feel like it..I got a huge block pave patio to do for the Mrs...the joys. Thanks for the advice, it could be an expensive mistake then! Morning guys.
Am at a sticking point in life where I don't know what to do next..am 43 years of age. Running my own asphalt business but it's coming to an end. The increase in prices have made it impossible to compete and earn...it hasn't been in profit for a while..I still get hot bitumen and stone jobs to do but not every week..so I can do the bitumen jobs when they come in. I am thinking along the line of making stuff from home to try and get some small cash flow coming in..I don't want to return back to company road works.and my tickets have now expired and I am not paying £2000 to renew them....trying to find part time work is a joke...am kind of stuck.
Not a lot of decent jobs abut nowadays. Cost of living is rising and wages aernt. Still on far far less than id like to be but that's life.If i could get a decent job id pack up in an instant
I worked for myself for over 30 years and always thought it was the only way to go. Then about 4 years ago I had some serious mental health problems and once recovered I knew something had to change. Quite by chance I found a job as a plumbing technician at our local college. I applied for and got the post and have been here now for over 3 years and really enjoy it. I'm not making as much as I used to but that's not an issue - kids all grown up, Wife has very good job - and I get paid for holidayswhich is a first for me. The thing I have noticed most though is that I now have zero stress and that really is worth a lot.
