I'd hoped to have a few terrible welds for you all to laugh at, as my Clarke 160EN and helmet (SWP 3045) was delivered today. (Thanks weldequip for the great service!)
I have something different for you to laugh and mock me for instead though.
I was woken by the wife at 7am for the delivery, acted like a schoolkid at Christmas and in my haste at opening the boxes managed to slice my right-hand index finger almost to the bone with those stooopid plastic straps they stick around boxes these days. Should have had 3 stitches, but the position on my finger was wrong for them, so it's taped up with a butterfly stitch/cellotape and a bandage that looks like it came from a Hanna-Barbarra cartoon instead, no welding for me for a few days.
At least it gives me time to find some steel sheet to work on, and sort out the little bits & bobs I need.
Big fat do'h from Leicesters own Homer Simpson
So I'll say "Hi" and yes, you're allowed to laugh, even I am, even 40 year olds can learn something from acting 1/4 of their age :P
Alan.
