Terminal pin removal tools

I suspect this is a niche question, but I know a few of you are involved in auto electrics (@premmington ).

I'm looking for a reasonable terminal pin removal kit - thus far I've managed with picks, small screwdrivers and the occasional pin or darning needle.
I'm usually dealing with superseal, econoseal and bosch connectors and have managed thus far with the above - but encountering the odd Deutsch connector makes me think it is about time i looked at a proper kit.

Most of the kits look the same, with a wide variation in prices, and some of the reviews make me think I'm better off sticking with my pick - any recommendations?

That 23 piece kit is the one I've been looking at - seen it anywhere from £20 up to £100, Suspiciously identical handles and blow mould case makes me wonder if there is any difference at all.
Which one do you have?

They do alot of terminals and specific plugs also which are handy if you need to repair plugs due to damage etc.

I bought one of the 23pc cheap sets off ebay, does what it says on the tin. Cant see any point in spending more on something that gets used so little.

I find a small terminal driver or small cable ties quite effective, but do have a Durite set for the odd ones, just be glad you don't do industrial control systems, opens up a whole new world of weird and wonderful extraction tools

Not very often, more a case of everytime I encounter one I keep thinking I should really get a proper kit.
I looked at the Durite ones, think they are sold under several different brands, to me it seemed like they would be a little awkward to get into places and you would be pushing against the sharp bits.

That's pretty much what I've been using for years - also a pin or darning needle is handy for reaching down inside to release the tabs - sometimes it is a right faff though.
Ahh, the nightmare of proprietary kit, you have my sympathy! I did a bit of work on military equipment a long time ago, they too love having vastly overly complicated and expensively engineered solutions for problems that don't exist.
I encountered quite a few "special tools" in the process. Sometimes they were in the toolbox, sometimes sat behind a desk.
