Am I right in saying that the only difference between a TPX and a TX bit is the hole/security feature?
I do have a screwdriver set containing small security bits, that's come in handy taking electronic gadgets apart, I also have a few larger TX bits that came in Halfords socket sets etc, just thinking about getting a complete set on a rail.
If the above two sets are essentially the same, would the bits with the hole fail/not be strong enough if you used them on a fastener that didn't have the round nubbin in the middle?
What may I be missing here? I don't really want to buy both sets.
