Locking extensions. Wouldn't be without mine for that exact reason.

Tbh i just use normal extensions as rarely work in an environment that requires it but
The pin and 0 ring is a 100% garuntee whereas locking ones can drop them in the right circumstances plus the extensin isnt locked on to the tool end
But i think to be using the pin and oring all the time you would either have to be in aero engineering or similar
Or be using one size all the time
I do use them on the inch drive pneumatic gun just cos i get fed up of retrieving the socket constantly as it roles across the yard as there is no friction ring

Thanks for the reply's, yes i certainly can see the point of pin / oring system if you work in a environment where FOD is a real risk, or your on a space walk repair mission on the space station. But for me this system is a complete annoyance.

Always used the o ring and pin system on site, its very commonly used when your using a "rattler"
