Hi All,
I'm currently making a frame from UB, UC and SHS that when finished, will sit outside for about a year, whilst it's trialed.
When the trial is finished, and any required modifications have been made, the frame will be disassembled and galvanised.
Is it worth painting the parts before they go for the trial, or is that going to cause issues with the galvanising prep (acid dip, etc)? I'm guessing that the parts will need to be shot-blasted before they're galvanised, if I just leave them as they are, for a year, outside.
Thanks,
Luke
