After some time practicing mig welding with a Parskide fluxcore welder I want to upgrade to a gas mig welder, with better control.
I make bird cages for my hobby quails, so I mostly weld thin tube (about 1-1.5mm thickness), but at this moment I can't weld the wired nets to the tube, as I can't get much control from my welder.
I would also want this welder to be able to weld thicker plates (about 6-8mm) for some other projects I have in mind.
I've heard good feedback for the brand Telwin that has good support here in Portugal, and for my budget I would go for the model Technomig 180.
I've made quite some search and I've come around the Polish brand Sherman which looks like it has a lot of bang for the buck.
PS: I don't valorize the MMA and TIG pulse options, my interest is only MIG as I have a separate MMA welder.
Which of these should would you go for?
I'm also willing to to hear other suggestions!
Thanks in advance!
