Telwin Technomig 150

Has anyone any experience of these http://weldingsuperstore.co.uk/telwin-technomig-150-dual-synergic-disposable-cylinders-kit.html or Telwin welders in general for that matter? Seems like a synergic machine at this price could be a good alternative to the likes of an R-Tech or similar inverter mig.

It's middle class... made in EU but as a company, they are a bit tightfisted, no euro torch, a synergy inverter but without a TIG option and no display - something obvious on cheaper Chinese ones. The case might not be so robust, cheap face panel as you can see, the feed unit might be of worse quality... they are realiable though, some of my friends own them, but again, I would place my money on either cheaper Chinese (3in1) or add some to buy the Lincoln Speedtec - not synergic of course but at the end of the day.. you don't need it that much...

User of REL inverter Telwin Technology 186HD here. As far as reliability goes, I'm very satisfied, burned over 60 kg of 3.2 rutile rods and still going strong. If you do get the MIG, report back how it works, I'm looking at 210synergic myself, mainly because it has euro torch and a display.
