Telwin inverter

Knowing i'm after another arc welder my mate has just offered me his Telwin tecnica inverter with no leads but in working order for £50 is this machine any good and more to the point is it a good price?

I would have said it was a good buy at £50, the leads won't cost much and you should be able to do scratch start DC tig with it too .

Wholesale Welding in Letchworth are the UK importers for Telwin, take a look at there website and you can see how much it is/was when new............although I can't see your going to get anythin else much better for 50 notes, so I would get it.

If there's no leads how do you know it's working or not? My advice would be to 'try before you buy'... amount of tales I've heard of "mates" selling kit that's "working fine" Test it with leads & if it is working it's a good 50 quid

Thanks for the replies guys,i know it is working weldequip cos he has been using it but he is keeping the leads for one he has just got without leads,looks like it will be money well spent then.
