we have been having major problems with someone who calls anonymously , you can hear activity in the background, then they ring off, obviously number withheld.
So so annoyed today, 12 calls on Monday, 3 this morning --rings my service provider to see if calls can be traced, the nice operator offered a service that bars all withheld numbers from contacting you, they activated this immediatly, sent an E mail with a code to type into my Telephone and better still is not charging for the service for one month to see how it goes, £4 a month after that inc VAT.

NOT HAD A CALL ALL day, no solar panels or loft insulation, and my computer must be fixed as he hasnt rang either.
worth remembering if you are pig sick and tired of cold calls and marketing calls that TPS cant do anything about because they are outside of the UK, apparently OFFCOM are inundated with complaints about cold calls originating from abroad and are looking at ways to ban them.--so she said.

ive had no witheld numbers to my house a few years now and caller display some daft oriental gentelman nuicance called me 4o times i phoned the old bill and he went round best laugh was i followed him and noted the adress was curious to know who it was

I read in the paper earlier that 2 blokes who were responsable for sending millions of PPI insurance spam textes to mobiles have been fined £250,000, They reckon nearly everyone with a mobile has had these spammy messages about claiming back PPI , so it does pay to complain

Buy a decent call blocker that you can programme . Have a look on line and ebay .

They cost about £40 to £ 90 , can be for single or multiple lines depending on the type you buy and can be set by an easy programable list to reject skype calls from abroad or accept only numbers you want.

You need to re do it about every seven months and make sure you add all the names of all the family and as many of the names of previous owners of your property as you can find out including their christian names.

Your supposed to be able to block mail by filing out a post office form but it's never worked for me . We still get unsolicited junk mail addressed in person to me or my lass.

Re the re register TPS ..
The two year thing is new to me , we've always seemed to get some thing after recent purchases or transactions where we had to use our names & /or addresses .....play the field with your term of address such as :-
Mr & Mrs F Bloggs , Mr & Mrs Bloggs F& B Bloggs , Mister F Bloggs, F Bloggs , Fred bloggs & Frederick Bloggs , F Bloggs esq.,

It could be that you are being hit in a different form from the one you registered at TPS

I filled my last two TPS out on line so no clerk comes back to say it's already done .
