Tee nut suppliers

Please could you say what the 3/8" refers to. Is it the thread on the stud that goes into the nut?

They size them by the slot width, so the upper, thinner, width of the nut.

When you look at that cost though, you factor in material, time etc. to make them yourself, & that isn't actually expensive.

i just buy stuff like that the only time i would make stuff is if it was unobtainable or mega expensive

That's it. With me, as much as I enjoy making stuff, my time is worth more than saving a few bob. I'd rather use my time for other tasks.

Time spent in reconnaissance is seldom wasted......

They slope the other way. Centre downwards to outer. These'll become test pieces for the shaper, once reassembled.

That is, of course, preferable to them sloping the other way. At least they contact the root of the slit, so are less likely to damage it when tightened.

Yup.....I only posted the links to show the various size charts, how they are designated, and the materials used (as there where questions on what materials).

I did not post "buy them here".

These 3 suppliers are the ones I spec in my day job.

As far as the peanut gallery, I see they are in fine form assuming things that were not written.
I doo await their Bloviations with glee....
