hi all, just joined after coming across the site whilst searching for a manual. looks to be some good info on here on all sorts of stuff. anyway i have just got a secondhand tecna 7902p spot welder, which i beleive is the same as a spotmatic, but have no instructions for it. anyone know where i can download one or could anyone email me a copy if they have one? thanks in advance.

Not what you are after but interesting for spot \ resistance welders
We used to have a spot welder like SIP 25 series the welder used to have a plastic bucket of water & cool the tips in after 3\4 spots made the dressing of tips less frequent Elf & safety was a long time ago

on another note what is the accepted way of profiling the electrodes? can it be done on a bench grinder or will that contaminate the tips, advice welcomed.

hand file is the best way. ISTR about 5mm flat is good
