Teardrop trailer

Anybody off here make a teardrop trailer
I was asked to make one and have frame done up so far
chassis is 40x40x5mm box, drawbar is 40x40x5 box also
top frame is out of 30x30x2mm box and has 3 different bends for to make up sides.pics to follow.

I love the colour sceem
The one i.m doing is being skined in 2mm alu
and roof in .8 roof skin as used in truck bodies and left in alu colour

Standard double bed mattress and clothes storage.

Mine was made from an old truck body, 16mm Glasonite sides and 1mm aluminium roof sheet. Chassis 50mm x 25mm x 3mm box.

Not really, had a lot of years use out it so can't complain.

I would have to disagree there Dave, I built mine for £600, they don't need to be expensive if you use your noddle.

Replaced it with a Combi Camp trailer tent, bloody brilliant !!!

We had a Combi Camp Sport a few years back and now have a Venezia and they are super tents. If I don't want the awning up it takes under a minute to put up.

I guess they give you a more livable space inside rather than just a sleeping pod and an outside cooking area
