TCT Chop Saw or Abrasive

Wasn't too impressed when my 355 tct blade suddenly stopped cutting and I found that all the teeth had gone! Must have been something in the steel I was cutting. 40x10 bar on edge. The teeth had gone back to the metal disc where they are brazed to, within a few seconds. Other wise, very accurate cuts, with the usual noise and flying hot chips.

got a rage 2,no dust,couple of magnets at the back helps collect the chips

That's a good idea, going to mount a couple of those huge £4 Lidl magnets on the back (in bags for easy chip disposal) - weigh more than the saw though.

I just received my Evolution Rage3 210mm from ScrewFix. Very impressed from the first test cuttings on mild steel square boxing (1,8mm) and alu blades (3mm). I will check it later at 45 degrees mitre & bevel cuts. The magnets at the back is a very neat idea !!!

I found that happened to my tct saw 4 blades in two months so I just got rid and bought a makita chopsaw
