I was going to grab a Yuasa 096 EFB off of Halfords for £150, on the assumption that Yuasa bin their batteries so that the absolute best were Yuasa and the Halfords Advanced would be seconds. £10 either way.

Same battery £84.80 on Tayna. Halfords is a ripoff or Tayna is too good to be true?

Today I have checked my card statement and a partial refund less the carriage has been made in respect of this return, but get this; it was headed "Parts in Motion" when the transaction was from "Automation Factors Ltd". It is also interesting that my account on the Tayna website appears to have been blocked, changing the password was successful and still will not login. It MAY be a co-incidence but I think it smells a bit of sour grapes.

Tayna are a shower of sods for doing that.
One dealing I had with them resulted in a return and I was blocked out of my account.
I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

I've read that the heat knackers them, more so than flooded batteries. Hard to discern what is fact and what is opinion and old wives tales about it though, or how bad it actually is, i.e. is an AGM not worth the premium if it's going in the engine bay.
