I hope this is in the right place but if its not can the mods move it please.
Bit of a random one for a welding forum I know, but after feedback from people who use graphics tablets for CAD / Graphics software. I've not used one before apart from having a go a long time ago and they were rubbish back then. Are they any better now? What sort of makes / models are good for image software like GIMP as well as CAD software? I'll be using it on a Mac and they can be fussy buggers so if anyone is running one on a Mac I'd be interested to know what youve got.
This has been prompted by my trying to draw curves and freestyle lines in GIMP when I'm tracing a drawing to convert it to a DXF file. I'm using the mouse at the moment and its not going well so thinking a pen may be the way forward.....
