My CNC machine generates a fair bit of alloy swarf.
It's not long curlings at all, but small chips / splinters.
I suck it up with a Henry, but it's tiresome changing bags all the time. Plus they get damp from the cutting lube and that reduces suction anyway.
I'm thinking of getting one of those cyclone things and bolting it to the top of a blue plastic clip top drum.
But...
Is a henry a suitable driver for this? It's a low volume high pressure device (so far as I'm aware) whilst most extraction systems are high volume.
Anyone used a domestic vac cleaner on a cyclone before? And how did it work?
