Suspension top mount

Following on from this thread https://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/strange-corrosion-on-aluminium.103426/#post-1621741

I made a new one of these




Started with some 10mm Ali and cut a rough circle on the band saw



Then drill a rough centre hole

Then to the lathe and machine the outside diameter to correct size and thickness

Then swap to outside jaws to machine the inner diameter

Then on to mill with rotary table to drill holes and counter bores.

Finally press in the studs from the old one

And finished
