I want to build a new workshop behind the garage for cleaner smaller projects rather than using the garage as at present.
Unfortunatley the ground is sloping so I intend building a raised platform out of scaffolding poles and KeeKlamp fittings (I've got loads )
It will be approx 3m x 4m and I was thinking of a "grid" with poles concreted into the ground at the corner of every square metre.
The floor will be suspended on wooden bearers at, say, 33cm spacing.
The shed will carry quite a bit of weight - lathe, pillar drill, pallet racking etc so I want to ensure the base is stable.
Does a 1m spaced grid seem sufficient ?
Thanks.
