Hey all,
I own a small one man welding company. I mainly do work on site. I have recently added the Eastwood MIG 250 to my arsenal. It runs 20 amps at 120 volts and 50 amps at 240 volts. I am interested in getting a generator for this machine. I understand volts x amps = watts. My question is do I need 12,000 running watts or peak watts? I don't plan on running this machine near it's max settings. About 75%. Do I need 12k running or peak watts to do this?
Thanks!
