Isn't Mirka supposed to be the absolute dog's danglies when it comes to sanders? I'm surprised such an expensive tool failed so easily.

Their air Sanders are top of the league.

Don't get me wrong the sander is absolutely first class but I think they've had some teething or quality control problems with the electronics. To be fair ive been giving it a hard time for nearly 10 years. I really don't use Sanders in a mechanically sympathetic manner.

I would buy another when this eventually dies.
